Fourth of July week
All You Can Eat Korean BBQ…went to Mu Dung San in Ktown. Pretty good for only $16 a person but the service could’ve been better. I think I could’ve eaten more but it took forever for them to get us more meat. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not that I can eat as much if not more than the guys.
Orange Kamp…we stayed at Camp Nawakwa in Big Bear over the weekend. The cabins were really nice and they even had a pool. It was so hot and Igot a little sunburned. The food was really good and I met a whole bunchof really cool people. There was a talent show that was so hilarious…had me cracking up the whole time. I brought my camera and didn’t take any pictures…boo.
Dodger’s Game…got free tickets from work. All of my friends were rooting for the Braves but the Dodger’s win it, yay! I got my dodger dog and beer…that’s all it takes to make me happy.
Clubbing…went to Ritual (used to be White Lotus). Thanks Q for getting us in so quickly. Jaegar shots get me so f*cked up that I can actually be a cheapdate. Sobered up at the place next to Hodori’s.
Fourth of July…rode our bicycles from Redondo Beach to Hermosa. I couldn’t believe how crowded it was. Ran into an old friend and ended up at a random house party. Opting for something a little more chill we later went to another friend’s bbq for some food and fireworks.
Transformers…I loved the movie. Yes they could have done a better job on the script but the comic relief made it entertaining and the special effects were amazing. I wish they had played the theme song and that they had shown more autobots but I guess that’s what the sequel is for.
House Parties…went to two different parties on Friday and Saturday night. One in Marina del Rey and one in the Valley (omg I can’t believe how hot it gets there…thank god there was a pool). I definitely like the more intimate feel of a party over going clubbing. Plus it’s nice not to have to pay for drinks, hehe. It was a little strange at first knowing only one or two people out of the whole party but after a few drinks everyone is pretty friendly.
Korean Sushi…went to Furusato on Wilshire. I like how they give you pan chan with your sushi…definitely fills you up. They have a lot of good sashimi/sushi combination platters for a decent price since they give you so much you can share one.
Kwik-E-Mart…they converted a few 7-11′s as a promotional marketing theme for the new Simpson’s movie (there are only 11 in the world and for only a few weeks…we went to the one in Burbank). There was about an hour long line just to get in. Inside you can take pictures with plastic displays of the characters. You can also purchase Buzz Cola, Krusty-O’s cereal, Radioactive Man comics, Squishees, and bobble h eads of different characters. It’s so popular though that they run out of a lot of things.
Sunday Brunch….ate at Eat Well in West Hollywood. The portions are pretty large and it was nice to sit outside in their patio. They serve southern style grits which were really good. Fun place to people watch. Afterwards we went shopping on Melrose. Bought a couple cute dresses and tops. Cooled down with some Pinkberry. It’s funny how the yogurt craze is getting out of hand…there were at least 4 copy cat yogurt places within just a few blocks.
Volunteering…went to a meeting at Chop Suey Cafe in downtown LA for Project by Project. I’ll be volunteering for their annual Wine & Food Benefit on July 21st. They have some of the best restaurants and wineries in LA that will be offering tastings. Tickets right now are $150…a little pricey but I went last year and it’s definitely worth it.
Bartending Classes…I had my first class today. OMG the girls in my class are so hot! Most of them have huge boobs. One of the girls works at a place where she said on a good weekend night the bartenders can make in one night the cost of the class in tips (which was $400).

lol one of my friend was gonna ride a bicycle from LAX to SD @_@ except i don’t think he knew that PCH doesn’t go all the way… but anyway =P
it’s hilarious that noone knows the name next to Hodori’s, and just calls it the place next to Hodori’s…
booooooo fodgers!!!
The best KBBQ by far is Tahoe Galbi. Just keeping it real. hehe No problem about the hook up the other night. Gotta represent. I’ll remember to get you jager shots next time I see ya. Yay! have a good one, serina. bye.
hehehe…you eat more than guys? sucks for the guys.
oooh hot pic
. Transformers was awesome! hehe. So was Ratatouille
nice picture…is the friend single?! lolz…
transformers was good except the ending sequence was somewhat disappointing…
cute bikini! yeah I heard Transformers was amazingly good, never gave that movie a thought but maybe I should…I’m holding out for Harry Potter though…xP
check u lovely ladies out. oooooh! yeah..transformers was REALLY good…the script needed work..come on..a cube?!? the all spark? haha but all good..there’s gotta be a sequel.
i’ve been wanting to go to a Kwik E mart around here.
nope, it was a terrible movie… if there’s no long history preceding it, it’d be tolerable… everyone’s raving about the special effects, which I agree is really nice, but that’s the only positive thing about the movie. Hasbro can’t even commercialize the toys well enough! it’s pathetic… *sigh*
let’s see what’s wrong with it -
why would megatron know exact location of the cube and end up getting all frozen?
I doubt anyone’s competent enough to have kept him frozen 100 years ago, while transporting it half-way across the globe
eh, outer space is almost 0K, if they don’t die from that, 0C certainly ain’t gonna be much of an issue
the transformer on mars is autobot or decepticon?
autobots are not much less evil than decepticons the way things are presented in the movie, making it harder for the audience to care about either side. seems like everyone cares only about their own motives and earth is just caught in the middle and autobots were just a little nicer because if decepticons won earth, they’d be in a worse position
devastator is one of 6 transformers that formed the giant one
with giant EM-pulse ability, star-scream looses in a dog-fight? that’s just silly
how each transformer dies or doesn’t seems arbitrary…
i can go on and on about the movie… it’s very poorly thought-out in general… i expect more from Bay and Spielberg… or nothing at all…
meh!
peter got the 3-year upfront, then pay once for each year thing… i got a $24/mo deal while it lasted… join me, join me, forget peter! LOL
i’m definitely going to Groove Armada. there’s a bunch of us going with drinks and food, so if you need a group to hang with, hit me up!
i’m dying to go to the kwik-e-mart here in nyc!
lol…thanks! i wanted to specialize with something for my origami thats why i decided to only use dollar bills. I think its a pretty unque product that would catch a person’s eye.
lol what you lack in alcohol, you make up for in food!
dude no wonder female bartenders make a lot of moola
i dont believe this “boob” story at the bartending classes…pics are needed for this blog yet again.
Hot diggityy dayam… did all that in 2-3 days? Good Lord
Nice!!! I went to the Kwik-E-Mart too! And Transformers totally rocked!! Loved the comic relief…
See you at the PByP Food Festival.
