  • We went clubbing at Club 740 on Friday night.   One of my friends was spinning that night so the music was awesome.  It’s actually a nice venue inside even though it’s in downtown LA.  Great afterhours club and I was having a great time until we had to leave early at 2:30pm because someone got too drunk.  While it’s fun to get your buzz going, at this age getting so wasted that you throw up in my car is not cool.

Got home and was able to sleep for about an hour before I had to get up and drive out to the San Gabriel Mountains to do some canyoneering.  It was the first time I got to do a canyon since I took the ACA class.  The canyon that we ended up doing was Mary Jane and we were the second group ever to do it.  There were lots of fun rappels in some waterfalls and landing in pools of water.   I’ll post pics as soon as they’re emailed to me.  Later that night there was lots of food (hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, beans, salad, etc.), lots of beer, and a raffle for some gear at the campfire.

Sunday was spent catching up on some movies:  Mr & Mrs Smith didn’t disappoint with plenty of action and the chemistry between Brad and Angelina is so hot.  Plus the banter between the two was pretty funny.  It was kind of sad when they destroyed their beautiful house…I would love my house to be something like that in the future.  Batman Begins was also good too.  It was cool to see how the story all started and the dark motivation behind how Bruce Wayne really becomes Batman.  I highly recommend both movies

I agree. Some ppl have to know their limit. I’m sorry about your car. Pee-ewwww….

Anyways, thanks for the movie reviews. I’ll check out Angelina and Katie this weekend I hope. Woohoo!

  • yep I watched both, as you probably know now, hehe. Awesome movies :) .

  • why am i NOT surprised that you’re headed to Yosemite!? =P hehe.. the waterfalls are AMAZING right now! SO MUCH gushing water from a lot of snow melting!.. i was kinda upset that we were only going to be there for such a short time.. there’s SO MUCH to SEE and DO that i didn’t really get to TRULY enjoy the beauty of what the park has to offer! =i   funny how when i was a kid i didn’t really care to be there, now i wish we had stayed longer.. =)  maybe i’ll take an extended vacation there in the not too near future! =P

  • i saw mr & mrs..and didn’t really like it.  I mean it was alright, but i could of waited for the dvd to come out.

  • Yeah I loved both movies….

Hmm Mary Jane huh? Wonder if it got its name from hippie pot smoking mtn folk back in the days. hahaha

  • yes…both were good!

  • Which one did you like the most between the two?

If you like dark origins of batman, you should read Frank Miller’s Batman: Dark Knight Returns.

  • where in downtown is that club at?

batman was good and will be watchin mr & mrs smith this fri.  some ppl didnt like the mr & mrs that much so i hope i wont be disappointed

  • RYC: so very true. if there were legitimate reasons – then 2 people really shouldnt be together. but for ther case – i dont think there was any real reason besides the fact that she was just enjoying her single life and perhaps still in the “browsing” mode. not sure. relationships are so complicated at this age. sigh.

lol. im with you. im sick & tired of ppl thinkn its okay to get so wasted that they have to be taken care of. it’s so selfish! it ruins everybody else’s fun. ppl need to learn their limits and have some type of self-control.

i’ve heard nothing but good reviews for batman. i need to go see it.

  • Boy, lots of clubs are referenced on your blog. If someone needs to find you, just go to a club or a bar!
