Went to happy hour last night at Sunset Bar & Grill in Santa Monica...$3.50 drinks and 1/2 off appetizers from 4-7pm. Afterwards went shopping at 3rd street promenade. I have a pair of 7 jeans that I paid $150+ for and I swear the $20 jeans I get from Wet Seal fit just as well, lolz. Grabbed some cheap drinks from Cafe Crepe...the De L'amour with hypnotiq, passion fruit, and tropical juices is really good as well as the Nutella Martini. We decided to go watch the Devil Wears Prada. Cute chick flick...I loved looking at all the different outfits even though I am so not trendy and fashionable. I've always been a little more of the tomboy but I guess I still have that girly side of me that loves to shop and can never have enough accessories

I've decided to take a little break from dating and just concentrate on myself a little more. There are a lot of things I want to do and areas that I'd like to improve upon. It's kind of nice to be single and selfish, not have to compromise on anything, and spend all my money spoiling myself instead of someone else. Which reminds me I am way overdue for a waxing, a mani/pedi, facial, and a deep tissue sports massage.

haha, nobody's good enough for ya eh?
btw, your scuba gear isn't due 'til 8/3 i believe... mine's under your name too (in case you forgot), but extended to 8/30
yea...it was a good movie. being single is fun, no?
Nutella martini??!! YUM!
Single and selfish is the way to go. Enjoy it. Yeah, take pics when you're at Mt. Shasta for me. My co-worker just came back. It looked great. I should be doing something like that instead of planning QBBQ. haha Yeah, I still owe you a bowl of pho collecting dust for over 2 years now. Yikes...
bleh, it's always more fun to have someone else... single and dating! And eating out too of course
it's good to be single and selfish.
seven jeans are SO uncomfortable... or so i've heard...
you should be spoiling yrself even when yr not single! lol.
mm. massage sounds so good right about now.
you SHOULD work on yourself... being single, you have the opportunity to grow at rapid speed!... that's why i love the single life... although being in a relationship has it's perks too *wink*..
ryc: for sure!!... =P lemme know... and if you want a bike, im still selling mine! =)
so you save money by going to happy hour so you can spend it on those jeans?
i dont really have any comments for single life and being in a relationship. they both have their goods and bads. and they're not always the same. gotta balance the things out. (for both singles life or being in a relationship.)
I say whatever looks good on and fits well is the way to go. Yes, you get what you pay for with some designers , that's why I'm willing to pay $100+ for clothes... but you never know what cheap buy fits better if you don't try , ya know? I hate people who won't even try on Gap or Express just cause its those brands.
Then you find girls squeezed into the worse fitting clothes just to sport Gucci, or Seven, or Juicy. ha ha.
I've long retired my Juicy pants until I lose weight. Won't flaunt it if I don't got it. haahhahaha
Jeans are a must. Keep shopping!
i know. i have to admit the people in there are sorta creepy so i might have to do mail order next time. haha but it's too damn cute not to buy it.
oh yes! and i totally wanna watch that movie for the fashion. the book was a beach read if you haven't already read it
I agree. A break is always good. Don't settle for mediocracy in terms of dating. It's a waste of time, and your time is precious and you can be doing a lot more meaningful things than waste it on guys who don't deserve you, and I'm speaking from my own experience.
hey there.. ~ you know, you're exactly right... He doesn't know. I guess I wouldn't call it 'doing anything wrong' but.. just that he's not doing the right things either..
i love happy hours... everyday after work, I at least go for one drink. Can't wait to start again next week.
oooooh waxing...fun fun fun! jk!
I love the Devil Wears Prada!! Such great actting.
