Coffee...I remember when the only time I would really
drink coffee was when meeting up with a friend to talk. However, we just
got a new coffee machine at work and I've been finding myself drinking a cup
almost every day! It makes mochas, cappuccinos, lattes, etc...it's all
really good and best part is it's free!Jersey Boys...went to go watch this at the
Ahmanson Theatre.
Originally we were gonna get the rush/hot tickets but apparently you have to
get there really early to get them because they sell out fast. We ended
up getting nosebleed seats for $20 but it was still a lot of fun! I
didn't realize that I knew so many of the songs by Frankie Valli and the Four
Seasons. Definitely worth going to see. Had a late dinner at Sanamluang in Thai
town afterwards.Working Out...I'm going to make more of an effort to exercise during the
week now. Started by jogging about 3 miles yesterday in Manhattan
Beach. It felt really good. Gonna continue
it today and go biking in Santa Monica.
Maybe check out the free Twilight
concerts there. I really want to start waking up early and working
out in the mornings to get more energy. I'm waiting until September for
the 24 Hour Fitness deal before getting a gym membership but hopefully when I
do, I'll start swimming. I want to prepare for doing a triathlon sometime
next year.Vegas...looking forward to going this weekend! Haven't been back
to Sin City
for over a year. Hopefully do a little gambling, lounge by the pool, shop,
eat at a buffet, maybe watch a show, go clubbing, and of course hang out with
friends.Inspiration...I've been in something of a funk for oh about a year
now...just feeling confused about what I really wanted in terms of career and
relationships. I was depressed because I wasn’t where I thought I should
be in life. I’m beginning to realize
that instead of feeling down about the things I don’t have, I should be happy
about the things I do have. Happiness is
just a state of mind. I want to be a
better person and I want to surround myself with those who inspire me to do so. And hopefully I’ll also encourage and motivate
them as well.

dude, you're going to vegas this weekend also? like me too! well for sunday, monday.
probably do rehab... we should grab a drink =)
hear hear to the last bit =]
I moved away from my loved ones/LA to find myself. Funny thing is, I find myself wanting to go back for more inspiration....
One way to track where you want to be is just write down your goals from the past, present and future. See how you've done so far. Don't let yourself get depressed, it sometimes may be tough, but remember you have friends that are there to listen and lend a hand when you need it. =) Did you take any pics while you were surfing?
Good luck in Vegas!!!!
RYC: yea, i like'em a little more rough around the edges.... =P
Damon and I were at the SLO Triathalon last weekend supporting his friends even though he's "retired" now, but he was getting everyone ready. It definitely inspires me to get in shape.
ryc: sounds like a good idea... though i'm not so certain about te aching kitesurfing. can you wakeboard? i haven't gone through instructor training. it is not as bad of idea as teaching someone to paraglide or something, but it is kind of a rough sport to learn.
I def need to work out more, my happiness is def tied to that...
