On Tuesday I got to attend a work seminar at the Hotel Bel Air. This place is so nice...suites there run for about $900/night. They have this gorgeous lake with huge swans swimming around. There was a catered lunch and open bar cocktail hour afterwards with delicious appetizers. I was actually buzzed off 2 glasses of wine...how sad. I think my lowered tolerance was due to me still being sick.

Tonight we had happy hour at Toppers in the Radisson Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. They serve potent margaritas in your own personal pitcher and appetizers are $3.50. I tried the chicken satay skewers, chicken spring rolls, and calamari tacos...all were pretty good. But the best part is the gorgeous view of the sunset.

i stayed at hotel bel-air when i was working in NY and came to LA for a biz trip.. got lost among the gardens looking for my bungalow at night.. place is crazy nice..
lol man my tolerance is gone now too....i guess i gotta work that tolerance up!

i've been wanting to check out hotel bel air! i hear it's a luxurious boutique hotel. a friend was thinking of having her wedding there but too bad it's a bit small though it's beautiful.
what type of research and development do you do? we've settled on the wizard of oz, there's at least 6 of us girls and i've chosen to be the lion...it should be interesting

isnt bel air hotel pretty? i ate at the restaurant by the fake river bridge.. so cute..... i think toppers wasa disappointment.. only good thin gwas the view.. the hotel bar was kinda crappy and cheap looking! didnt match the new lobby
