My birthday dinner at Tokyo Delves...really loud and fun place with good sushi.
Canyoneering in Zion National Park in Utah:
We did Keyhole Canyon where it started pouring rain after we just finished (we could've been caught in a flash flood if we had done it any later). Then when we did Spry Canyon we had a large group so we ended up having to downclimb in the dark and one of us almost fell off a cliff. The water was cold so wetsuits are mandatory. Ended up buying a whole bunch of canyoneering gear (new bag, rope, shoes) on sale.

btw...you really enjoyed tokyo delve's?? hehe...ok no comment.
i have had 2 out of 2 less than desirable experiences there but hey--that's just my bag.

Happy bday...... i've heard delves has awesome atmosphere but the sushi is so so.
Utah has some pretty scenic areas.
if it wasn't for me not willing to spend any more money on gears this year, i would've gone to Zion too @_@

sweet. was there much water flowing down the canyon. i've only gone once w/ my brother. i'd like to do it more often... i'm currently eyeing san antonio falls... just need to find someone w/ the expertise...
ryc: i'd definitely be interested in a canyoneering trip. though i've only gone once. let me know if you go.
as far as international snowboarding - check out chamonix. it is the best i've ever been to. though i imagine that helicopters in alaska would be better...
the entire mvp pass thing is so unfair...
you seem to have a lot more fun than anyone else i know... (that includes danny and peter) but perhaps the grass is always greener on the other side?

sorry we didn't make it out for your dinner... crazy week.... maybe we can meet up next week for dinner or something... haven't seen you in ages.... Zion is beautiful isn't it? Canyoneering looks like fun... i've only been there to take pictures.... =P and do some hiking....
