EDIT: I’m going to Boston in a few weeks. Anyone have any suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc?
Did so much dancing this weekend I actually feel sore…or does that just mean I’m out of shape, haha?
Went to the Vanguard on Friday night. If I had known before that it was going to be an 18+ club, I probably would not have gone. But the music was really good so it totally made up for that. They have a large patio with a giant Buddha which was pretty cool. Got home around 5am.
The next night we went to the Factory in West Hollywood. I got a great buzz going. It’s funny because they turn the kitchen into an infirmary where all the really drunk people go to recover. How do I know? Because that’s where we found one of my friends
Thanks to Chris (one of the EMTs) for taking care of her. Thanks also to the hot bartender who hooked it up with some free shots. Afterwards we went to Ihop for some late night food and to sober up. We had a bit of an adventure though because by the time we got back from Ihop, the valet where one of my friends had parked her car was closed. The valet also had her house keys and another friend’s car keys in there plus we couldn’t even find her car in the lot. We got back to my place around 6am where they slept for a few hours and we went back in the morning to try and get her car when the valet opened again. Luckily her car was there and everything worked out. We ended up having breakfast at the same Ihop where we were just hours before, haha.
I’m going to start bringing my camera when I go out now so I will have more interesting pics to post in the future.

yeah it’s nice to bring a camera around. I should be doing that too, but I’m not.
Haha. The Factory doesn’t look THAT bling, but good picture. You should definitely bring your camera out more. Also, I’ll post your pics on the V-Unit gallery. hehe V-V-V-Unit!

i got lotsa emails about the opening of vanguard. luckily i didn’t go if it was 18+…i feel old enough going clubbing as it is!! =p
ryc: yeah, most people go to the ballpark for the food.. i have many chances to play mahjong over the course of my life…but never played until saturday. go figure. =p
Dancing is such a good workout, one of the few fun ones. Cute Buddha! I want that in my backyard. Haha..

i’m going to boston in a few weeks too! it’ll be for work though, so i doubt i’ll do anything besides sit in the hotel room.
oh wow nice, I haven’t been to boston yet, but have been wanting to. I suggest you drive a bit to CT to goto Foxwoods. It’s the largest casino in the world
