Usually I don't like to do anything by myself. I've never watched a movie, ate at a restaurant, or gone clubbing by myself before. But it was nice to take the day off yesterday and go on my own to check out MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in downtown LA. Its free admission on Thursday afternoons. I'm more of a fan of classical art than modern stuff. My reaction for most of the pieces were
. But some of the stuff was pretty interesting.
Afterwards, I met up with a friend for drinks at Vine Street Lounge. Walked over to the Pig 'n Whistle for a bit before we wound up at Boardner's for a late night snack.
TGIF...I know this was a short week but somehow it still felt long.

yeah.. i dunno about modern art.. a lot of it sometimes is really somebody who got HIGH and just made a mess on canvas or somethin! =P hehe

I don't like doing anything by myself either, it makes me feel all weird. I admire the individuals who do have the courage and confidence to do that on a regular basis though. I guess I'm dependent on others that way...
it's not too bad going to museums by yourself, since you can go at your own pace. however fast or slow.
i'll have to hit up all of the LA museums when i get back to catch up from the summer away.
yeah i never did anything by myself either...until after college.
i watched a movie by myself once coz i was stuck on campus longer than all my friends who took earlier flights home for christmas. not that you interact with anyone while watching a movie, but it was a little lonely not to be able to share laughs.
i went to porterhouse bistro last nite and it was all thanks to you
you always seem to check out fun and interesting places... i loved their pre-fixe menu... my friend and i were really satisfied with our meals 
i think the only thing i do by myself is go shopping...perhaps i should go to the museum by myself...

I just realized that I saw a Pig and Whistle while I was in SF this weekend... I wonder if is chain? Or did sometime take another places name? heh Hope your weekend was good. ciao =)

I love going to the movies by myself, its strangely relaxing.
